A brief overview of our Publishing Services
These are the only fees Badgley Publishing Company charges:

Publishing Fee: $1000.00 Flat
Per Sale Fee:  $1.00 per sale
Buying Fee.  $1.00 per book, per order with a maximum charge of $5.00.

The Publishing Fee of $1000.00 is due upon the date of Publication of your book and Publication will not take place
until you are completely satisfied with the finished product.  If unable to pay the full $1000.00 fee at that payment
arrangements may be made.

The Per Sale Fee of $1.00 per sale is deducted from your Royalty.

The Buying Fee of $1.00 per book, per order is for books you purchase for your own use and will never be over
$5.00.   You will never be forced to buy any more books than you actually want.  This is a print on demand
operation and you can order 1 book or 10000, you are not required to pay for book runs.

That's it.  No other charges.

For the Publishing Fee here is what you get:

  • Formatting your manuscript for whatever size paperback book you want.
  • Formatting your manuscript for E-Readers, Kindle, Nook, Kobo etc.
  • An ISBN number for your book.
  • Cover Creation.  We will work closely with you to come up with what you are looking for.
  • A proof copy before publication
  • Promotion

  • A Page on our Website.
  • Distribution through BPC Distribution and Amazon/Createspace Expanded Distribution services.
  • Your book will be put on the market through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple, Kobo and Google Play, BPC
and will be available worldwide. (Except China)

adjusted during formatting.  We will not add or delete anything in your manuscript without your permission.

in your name.  BPC will just be the Publisher of Record.

  • BPC may reject your manuscript for any reason it deems fit to do so
  • You will set the Suggested Retail Price for your book.  We will help you with this to assure you get the highest
    royalties possible.

Your requirements:
You must be the owner of all materials, including photos and illustrations you place in your manuscript.  BPC will not
be responsible for any copyright infringement actions brought about on your work.

If you don't have a Paypal account, you will need to open one.  This is how you will be paid your royalties.
All royalties from the sale of your book will be held and applied to the Publishing Fee until it is paid in full. (Unless
you pay it all upon publication.) From that time on, all royalties, minus the Selling Fee will be deposited into your
Paypal account upon receipt from the sellers. Paypal is also how you will pay BPC for book orders for yourself.

You will be responsible for proofing your own work.  BPC will not be responsible for errors within your manuscript.
Once you approve the manuscript for publication, the responsibility for errors is all yours.

You and BPC retain the right to withdraw the agreement at any time with 30 days written notice.  In that event, all
outstanding royalties due you will be paid to you upon receipt from the sellers, provided the Publishing Fee has
been satisfied.
BPC will not guarantee your book will be a best seller and/or that you will make millions of dollars off of it, but one
thing we will guarantee is that if you don't get it out there on the market, you won't earn anything.  BPC is not a fly
by night, profit seeking entity.  We sincerely care about helping someone realize their dream of publishing a book
and preserving a good story.  That is why you don't have to pay a penny until you are completely satisfied with our
work and publication takes place.
